A client of ours in the Manufacturing space is seeking a talented Fortinet Network Engineer to join their team. As a third-party recruiting agency, we are tasked with identifying top-tier professionals to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance network solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge Fortinet technologies in a collaborative and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement secure network solutions utilizing Fortinet hardware and software, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
- Manage and maintain network security protocols, ensuring the infrastructure is resilient to potential threats.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, providing advanced technical support for network incidents.
- Perform regular updates, patches, and firmware upgrades on Fortinet devices to ensure optimal security and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Fortinet solutions with existing IT infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Stay current with the latest Fortinet technologies, network security trends, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer with expertise in Fortinet technologies.
- Strong knowledge of FortiGate firewalls, including configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and other Fortinet security solutions.
- Proficiency in networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs, IPsec, SSL VPNs).
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Industry certifications such as NSE4, NSE5, or higher are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with cloud-based networking and security (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
