Senior Network Automation Engineer/Cisco/CICD

Our client, a leading organization in the Financial space is seeking a skilled Cisco Network Automation Engineer with significant expertise in cloud networking. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about automating network processes, optimizing performance, and driving innovation within hybrid or cloud-native environments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated network solutions using Cisco technologies (e.g., ACI, Meraki, or DNA Center).
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Python scripting.
• Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to integrate and optimize multi-cloud network environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines for network automation workflows.
• Ensure network solutions align with security and compliance requirements.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and best practices for automated workflows.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Network Automation Engineer, with expertise in Cisco technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, or Cisco NSO).
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), including VPCs, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions and concepts.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, DevNet Professional) are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Kubernetes networking and service mesh configurations.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and analytics tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, or AppDynamics.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
