MSP Field Engineer/ remote but local travel to Philly area

A leading Managed Services Provider based in the Philadelphia area is looking for a skilled MSP Field Engineer to join their growing team. This role is offering the flexibility of remote work while supporting local clients with occasional on-site visits. You’ll be working in a environment supporting diverse infrastructure stacks, including Windows Server environments, virtualization, networking, and cloud platforms like Microsoft 365 and Azure.

Required Skills & Experience

· 3+ years of experience in an MSP or IT services environment
· Strong experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory
· Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP, firewalls)
· Proficiency with Office 365 and Azure AD
· Experience with remote monitoring & management (RMM) tools
· Reliable transportation for local client visits

Desired Skills & Experience

· Certifications: CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, MCSA, or Azure Fundamentals
· Exposure to Linux-based systems (Red Hat/CentOS)
· Experience with backup solutions like Datto or Veeam
· Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell preferred)
· Strong client communication and documentation skills
