We are working with a paper and packaging company in the DFW area. For this position they are seeking to hire an IT Specialist for their Greenfield Production Facility in Lancaster, TX.
For this role as an IT specialist, you’ll be responsible for installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners, monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests, and providing technical support across the company via in person or over the phone. Any experience working with Windows, Active Directory, Outlook email troubleshooting, network troubleshooting, wi-fi and access point troubleshooting, provisioning equipment, hardware and software repair replacements is desired.
This is a full time direct hire position onsite in Lancaster, TX.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of industry relevant experience
- Windows, Mac OS
- M365 support
- Network support and troubleshooting – wifi, access points, LAN/WAN
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Providing technical support across the company via phone and in person
- Active Directory – setting up user accounts, password resets ·
- Hardware repair and replacements
- Working with vendors of hardware and software to ensure that their products and services meet business needs
- Backup the IT Supervisor including maintaining records, writing requisitions for purchasing computer equipment and software.
- Provide technical expertise and problem-solving assistance as needed on call nights and weekends.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Any SAP ERP experience is a plus
- Having excellent troubleshooting, communication and interpersonal skills, including effective development of training and reference documentation
- Write and speak in Spanish is a plus
