Data Platform Engineer / Snowflake, Terraform / 100% remote

We are seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of a cutting-edge data infrastructure. This role is critical in scaling and evolving enterprise data platforms to support advanced analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives. Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and managing enterprise-grade data platforms.
• Advanced expertise in Python for building and managing complex data workflows and infrastructure.
• Extensive experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for modular and efficient data transformations.
• Deep proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), managing cloud-native data ecosystems.
• Mastery of Snowflake, including schema design, query optimization, and advanced warehouse configurations.
• Expertise in distributed data processing frameworks and real-time data solutions.
• Strong understanding of SQL and database performance tuning.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable data architectures to support high-volume, high-velocity data processing.
• Leadership in implementing CI/CD practices and automation pipelines for data engineering workflows.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience with modern data architectures such as data lakes, data mesh, or lakehouse models.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Prefect to manage complex workflows.
• Strong understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their integration with data platforms.
• Experience with implementing data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams, providing technical guidance and fostering collaboration.
