A growing managed service provider is seeking a talented IT Administrator to join their dynamic project team. In this role, you will take ownership of delivering projects to clients, managing end-to-end processes including upgrades, installations, implementations, and migrations. Collaborating closely with the Project Team Lead, you will participate in project planning and execution, ensuring seamless communication with both technical and non-technical clients.

They are looking for someone who has a broad mix of technical skills including both Microsoft and Cisco technologies. The majority of the projects will be based around servers, cloud, and M365 technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of projects from initiation to completion, focusing on Windows/Microsoft technologies and occasional Cisco network projects.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage in Windows Server administration, Microsoft 365 integration, and virtualization technologies (VMware, HyperV).
  • Implement and manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and other related services.
  • Provide support for Cisco LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewall installations, and route/switch configurations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience with Windows Servers and Microsoft 365.
  • Expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware and HyperV.
  • Strong proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policies, and related enterprise identity solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco LAN/WAN support, firewall installations, and route/switch configurations.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, delivering successful outcomes.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience in a client-facing role or within an MSP/VAR environment.
  • Relevant certifications from Cisco or Microsoft are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with public or private cloud environments, particularly Microsoft 365.

  • Tech Breakdown: 70% Windows/Microsoft, 30% Cisco Networking.
  • Daily Responsibilities: 50% Project Work, 40% Administration, 10% Support.
