Job Description:
As a Mid-Level Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network solutions that ensure high performance, availability, and security. You will work closely with senior engineers, IT teams, and clients to understand their needs and deliver effective network solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and manage LAN/WAN networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Install, configure, and support network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy scalable network solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and junior team members.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve network infrastructure.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and HP.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA) are a plus.
