Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and manage LAN/WAN networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Install, configure, and support network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy scalable network solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and junior team members.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve network infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and HP.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA) are a plus.
