Join their team as a Platform Engineer based in Horsham, PA, with a hybrid work model allowing 2-3 days remote work per week. You'll be working on a critical U.S. government contract, requiring U.S. citizenship.
Seeking a talented Platform Engineer to join our high-performing Platform Engineering Team. As part of this team, which includes DevOps and Cloud Engineers, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting technology modernization initiatives within their Government IP division. This position offers a unique opportunity to design and build toolchains and workflows that empower their product development teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences quickly and securely. You'll contribute to architectural decisions, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and a data-driven approach to engineering decisions.
Description: This role bridges the best practices of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering, providing you with opportunities to influence architectural decisions and shape their infrastructure's evolution. Key responsibilities include:
  • Enhancing build and contributions to establishing a high function CI/CD platform.
  • Integrating platform improvements focused on automated testing systems
  • Utilizing metrics to inform and optimize engineering practices.
  • They are looking for an energetic and knowledgeable Lead Platform Engineer with a passion for learning and growth in a fast-paced technological environment.
Job Requirements:
  • BS in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in Systems or Software Engineering.
  • Proficiency in at least two of our core tech stacks:
    • Azure (Virtual Networks, DataBricks, Virtual Machines, Applications, ARM).
    • DevSecOps (Azure Pipelines, SonaType Nexus, SonarQube, K6, Cypress).
    • Kubernetes (CoreDNS, Ingress Controllers, Stateful Sets, Deployments, Custom Resources, Helm).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a commitment to codifying infrastructure.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • Experience with CLI tools, IDEs, and SDKs.
  • Designing and managing cloud-native infrastructures.
  • Scripting proficiency in Python or PowerShell.
  • Expertise in RBAC, IAM, MS AD, SAML, and Federated Identity Management.
  • Strong CI/CD pipeline understanding and implementation skills.
