Network Manager/Hands on/Hybrid South Jersey

A Healthcare Company in South Jersey is seeking a talented Network Manager to lead our network team.
This company is looking for an experienced Network Manager with expertise in Cisco and Fortinet Firewalls to oversee the network security operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining network infrastructure, along with hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco and Fortinet firewall systems.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Design, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures for our network.
• Configure and optimize Cisco and Fortinet firewall systems to ensure maximum efficiency and security.
• Monitor network traffic for potential security breaches and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
• Lead a team of network security professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and tasks.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address network security requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in network security technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in network administration, with a focus on network security.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco and Fortinet firewall systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Experience managing and leading a team of network security professionals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent are preferred.
