A manufacturing company in South Jersey is expanding its team and seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support various facets of IT infrastructure. As the right hand to the IT Manager, you will work extensively in a Cisco environment, handling routers, switches, firewalls, and contributing to an SDWAN implementation. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in managing Windows and Microsoft technologies as the company embarks on its cloud migration journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the IT Manager on infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, and implementations.
  • Manage and optimize Cisco route/switch operations and assist in SDWAN deployment.
  • Utilize strong virtualization skills with VMware to maintain and enhance server infrastructure.
  • Administer Windows servers and contribute to the ongoing Azure cloud migration initiative.
  • Support Microsoft 365 technologies, including O365, SharePoint, and Intune.
  • Solve complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven expertise in infrastructure project management, migrations, upgrades, and implementations.
  • Strong proficiency in Cisco route/switch technologies and SDWAN implementations.
  • Working knowledge of firewalls and network security principles.
  • Extensive experience with VMware virtualization.
  • Expertise in managing Windows servers and familiarity with Azure cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, including O365, SharePoint, and Intune.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to IT challenges.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant certifications from Cisco or Microsoft are highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing or retail industry would be advantageous.

  • Tech Breakdown: 60% Network, 40% Servers/Microsoft.
  • Daily Responsibilities: 30% Administration, 30% Project Work, 30% Day-to-Day Engineering, 10% Support.
