Technical Writer
This is a great opportunity for a seasoned technical writer who has experience working closely with product and engineering teams. The right candidate will know how to take complex technical information and turn it into well-structured documents that are easy to follow and meet industry or regulatory standards.
Contract Duration: 4 – 6 Months
U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders Only
Hybrid 2 days in Mesa
· 8+ years of technical writing experience for software products
· Experience documenting new technical systems or product features
· Familiarity with SDLC and working in software development environments
· Experience writing documentation such as:

System Support & Maintenance Plans
-
Master Test Plans
-
Data Dictionaries and Schema Documentation
-
Security and AI Assessment Plans
-
User manuals and technical guides
· Experience writing CDRLs or other regulated deliverables
· Background supporting government or security-focused projects
· Ability to work directly with engineers and product teams to gather information
· Experience using desktop publishing or formatting tools
· Understanding of documentation standards in regulated environments

Job Responsibilities

Create technical documents such as user guides, test plans, security and maintenance plans

Work with technical subject matter experts to gather and clarify complex system details

Write documentation that supports internal users, external customers, and compliance needs

Organize and structure content clearly and logically

Maintain and update documents as systems evolve
