Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Operational Risk & Controls in a large global organization.
- Experience with risk analysis and building controls on corporate policies.
- Must have strong understanding of Governance frameworks & how to apply those against company standards.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Review existing Enterprise Risk Management Training Program (ERMTP) framework(s), governance structures, standards and associated processes and controls.
- Review appropriate policy, standard, documentation to familiarize with various requirements ERMTP is subject to.
- Analyze and evaluate existing documentation and controls against requirements for gaps, inconsistencies and areas of improvement.
- Make recommendation to ERMTP management to remediate gaps, inconsistencies and areas of improvement.
- Develop action plans with target dates to oversee the recommendations agreed upon.
- Execute action plans/enhancement to frameworks, governance structures, standards, processes, etc. which include creating or updating documents, tracking changes, presenting recommendations and changes to various stakeholders, and obtaining approvals.
- Establish and implement ERMTP Governance Framework, including establishing the roles and responsibilities, members, cadence, and meeting management (scheduling, agenda, meeting minutes, material management, communication, etc.).
- Developing Control Testing methodology per the company’s control standards.
- Execute Control Testing as needed.
