Microsoft Intune Application Package Engineer - Remote

Position: Microsoft Intune Application Specialist – Remote
End Client: Shaw
Pay Rate: $40-$55/hr.
Bill Rate: $65/hr.- $80/hr.
Contract Length: Estimated 60 days of work
Location: Remote
Hours: 8-5 EST working hours
Project: Application Packaging of over 200 applications for Intune Roll out

Contractor Job Duties for Intune Application Creation:

• Application Packaging and Testing:
  • Package and test Windows applications (Win32) according to Microsoft Intune best practices.
  • Utilize internal team instructions and Microsoft documentation to ensure proper configuration and testing of applications.
  • Test applications on endpoint devices, ensuring compatibility and proper functionality based on internal and Microsoft documentation.
  • Communication with End-User Infrastructure Team:
  • Collaborate with the End-User Infrastructure team and application owners to verify test results and ensure proper deployment configurations.
  • Work closely with the team to resolve any issues during testing or deployment phases.

Application Deployment:

• • Deploy applications into the company portal per assigned tasks.
  • Ensure applications are correctly deployed, tracked, and visible to end users.
  • Troubleshooting Application Delivery:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the delivery of applications in the Intune environment.
  • Focus on identifying and fixing failed application deployments, ensuring smooth rollout and functionality for users.
  • Documentation and Process Adherence:
  • Follow all internal process documentation provided by the End-User Infrastructure team to ensure consistent and standardized procedures for application packaging and deployment.
  • Maintain detailed records of application configurations, testing results, and deployment processes.

Key Skills:
Experience with Windows application packaging (Win32).
Troubleshooting skills for Intune application delivery issues.
Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
