Mid-Level .NET Engineer / Hybrid / Chicago, IL

They are seeking a skilled Mid-Level .NET Engineer to join their marketing division. In this role, you will build APIs from scratch, integrate with third-party systems, and contribute to the development of marketing technology solutions that enhance customer engagement. You'll work with modern technologies like C#, .NET Core, SQL, and React to develop scalable and efficient applications.

What You Will Be Doing 

• Develop and maintain APIs from scratch to support marketing initiatives and customer engagement tools.
• Integrate with third-party platforms to streamline data exchange and marketing operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing specialists, data analysts, and product managers.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Design, develop, and optimize database queries and structures using SQL.
• Implement front-end features using React to support marketing-driven applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers when needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in marketing technology and software development.

Required Skills & Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on C# and .NET Core.
• Proficiency in building APIs from scratch and integrating with third-party services.
• Strong understanding of SQL for database design and query optimization.
• Experience with front-end technologies, particularly React.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
