Cloud Security Engineer / Azure

This well-known chemical company has a goal of reducing their greenhouse gas emissions by over half by the year 2030, and they are looking for a cloud security engineer to lead their defensive security initiatives. This person will be responsible for securing their cloud infrastructure (Azure), assessing security risks, integrating security practices into new cloud projects, and collaborating with other teams. It’s a great mix of hands-on technical security and cooperation/advisory with other teams. There will also be opportunities to hire a few team members if you are interested in gaining leadership experience. This is a full-time position that is hybrid in the Greater Philadelphia area, so only local candidates will be considered. 

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of professional experience in cyber security with at least 3 of those years in cloud environments (Azure preferred). Defensive security experience is expected. Experience developing security policies and procedures would also be highly valued. Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years of professional experience in cyber security
• 3+ years of professional experience in cloud environments (Azure preferred, AWS ok if you also have Azure certifications)
• Experience developing security policies and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Cloud certifications
• Experience with migrating to cloud environments
