Head of Engineering

My client is a San Francisco-based software company specializing in secure AI-driven account access and control. They provide APIs and SDKs that enable developers to manage, track, and automate user-permissioned integrations across various platforms and authentication methods. They have recent funding and aim to make the internet more interoperable by allowing AI to act securely on behalf of users. It is quite the product!

They are looking to hire a Head of Engineering to really come in and lead the engineering team. They are looking someone to build a great engineering culture for a startup ere in the Bay Area. This person will partner with the CEO on responsibilities as well. 
Key Responsibilities Drive engineering KPIs and continuous improvement

• Own architecture decisions and implement when necessary

• Some hands on development.
  Establish clear practices across engineering
  
  
  Ideal Person:

• 5+ years of engineering experience
  2+ years managing multiple workstreams of team under 10 engineers

• Early-stage startups (as founder, or engineering leader)

• Great communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

• Proven ability to build engineering teams.

• Comfortable with an early-stage environment
