An enterprise organization in Worcester is seeking a Software Engineer III to help design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software systems. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with modern technologies in an Agile, DevOps-driven environment. The role involves building enterprise-grade applications using Java, modern frameworks, and continuous integration tools while collaborating across engineering and product teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience developing enterprise-level applications

  • Proficiency in Java or another object-oriented programming language

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps tools, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Strong understanding of software architecture, reliability, and testing practices

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes

  • Strong communication and cross-team collaboration abilities

  • Interest in performance optimization and scalability
