Our client, a Series A–funded AI company, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing development team. This is a full-time role that is hybrid in Boston. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience writing production-quality software in Python

• Strong experience building asynchronous, high-throughput systems

• Expertise with FastAPI, Django, and asyncio

• Experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, or Express

• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with distributed data processing tools (RabbitMQ, SNS, SQS)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and DevOps practices

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make trade-offs

• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a distributed, remote team environment

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working with foundational LLMs and strategies to optimize their efficiency

• Prior experience in regulated industries (insurance, fintech, healthcare, etc.)

• Background in high-growth, fast-paced startups or scaling environments

• Interest in exploring and applying emerging technologies

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown

• 70% Backend development (Python, FastAPI, Django, AsyncIO, data systems)

• 30% Frontend and systems integration (React, Node.js, TypeScript, APIs, cloud infrastructure)

Daily Responsibilities

• 80% Hands-on coding, architecture, and troubleshooting

• 20% Team collaboration, design reviews, and strategic planning
