Senior Software Engineer

Job Description
Our client, a leading software company in the engineering and scientific computing space, is seeking a Senior Python Backend Engineer to build backend services that power next-generation applications.

You’ll join a collaborative engineering team developing high-performance, cloud-native systems used by engineers, researchers, and developers worldwide.

This is a full-time, onsite role in Boston, MA.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong expertise with Python
• Experience building RESTful or microservice-based backend systems
• Experience with React or another modern front-end framework
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and distributed systems
• Experience working on high-traffic or large-scale web applications

Desired Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Background in high-performance or distributed systems
• Interest in engineering, applied math, or scientific computing
