Senior Network Engineer

Seeking a network expert with deep expertise in Cisco LAN networks to consult on a complex network design for a critical infrastructure project.

This network expert will evaluate the design to determine the technical feasibility of implementing the solution, as well as identify any design deficiencies which would impact operational performance and reliability of the network. During the evaluation, also requests consultation on any improvements to the design, while maintaining adherence to project requirements.

Duration:

Short-term consultation support, as required, to provide network design consultation to the project engineers and team.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure compliance with customer requirements.

· Ensure design is feasible and will provide high availability and reliability.

· Provide expert guidance on Cisco networks, including routing, switching, VLANs, network convergence, and security.

· Conduct thorough assessments of designed network architecture and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

· Strong Knowledge on Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 network implementations.

· Knowledge of other networking technologies and vendors.

· Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices.

· Experience in designing and implementing complex network solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.

· Experience in working with critical infrastructure projects.

· Experience in working with operational technology systems.
