Senior DevOps Engineer / Terraform / Kubernetes / GitOps / Chicago

We are helping a SaaS company, based in Chicago, that specializes in providing security solutions in a one-stop shop. Their products help businesses They are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer on a hybrid basis in the Chicago area to work on a full time basis. This is part of their greater modernization process.

They are looking for a senior engineer to join a team that's currently running production workloads on Kubernetes (EKS/AWS) and is actively pivoting toward a GitOps workflow. This is a chance to be part of a meaningful infrastructure transformation rather than just maintaining the status quo.


Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Advanced Terraform Expertise by managing complex multi-environment state management, custom providers, and enterprise-scale IaC implementations
• Experience managing multi-cluster EKS environments with advanced networking, security policies, and orchestration at scale
• Deep experience with EKS, VPC design, IAM policies, and service integration patterns
• Hands-on experience transitioning from traditional CI/CD to GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD or Flux
