As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software in a professional Agile environment. You will work closely with other engineers, QA testers, and product managers to deliver high-quality applications used by clients across the construction industry. This is a hands-on position that offers a unique opportunity to build production-ready applications and customer-facing tools that are crucial to day-to-day operations in the field.
Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or related field

4+ years’ experience with Microsoft development tools (C#, .NET Framework 4+, MS SQL 2012+)

Experience with .NET WinForms

2+ years of experience with Entity Framework (EF or EF Core)

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
-
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Repos and code management

Strong experience with Structured Query Languages including Transact-SQL and SQLite
-
Ability to perform regression testing, manual QA, and usability testing

Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills
Desired Skills & Experience

Microsoft Developer Certification

Experience designing SQL Server databases to model business processes

Experience with RESTful API development in .NET and SOAP

Exposure to HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Blazor, and related front-end technologies

Familiarity with SSO / Single Sign-On protocols

Experience with Infragistics controls

Background working with Construction ERP systems such as Oracle JD Edwards or Sage 300

Daily Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain software applications

Participate in Agile development meetings including scrums and retrospectives

Conduct testing, document findings, and validate defect corrections

Collaborate with product teams and customers on software behavior

Use Azure DevOps for tracking, coordination, and deployment

Research, document, and resolve software issues
