A privately owned real estate investment and development firm with 75 years of history is hiring for a Network Engineer. The firm holds $33 billion of assets and has an established platform. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining and enhancing the firms network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in networking, ideally 5+ years of industry relevant experience, with specific experience in Cisco technologies, including Cisco Call Manager, VoIP routers, wireless technologies, routing and switching, ISE, and DNAc. You should also have some experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
This is a full time direct hire position with a hybrid schedule in the office 3 days per week in Dallas, TX.

What You Will Be Doing

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering or similar
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
- Proven experience with Cisco Call Manager, Cisco ISE, and DNAc
- Experience with VoIP routers and Cisco WLC
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching
- Some experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong understanding of network security principles
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Preferred Certification: CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
What You Will Be Doing
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Configure and manage Cisco Call Manager
- Implement and manage VoIP routers
- Configure and maintain Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
- Manage and troubleshoot routing and switching issues to ensure network stability and performance
- Manage and troubleshooting Cisco ISE issues
- Provide support and management for Palo Alto firewalls
- Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize network operations
- Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to ensure cohesive and comprehensive network support
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend and implement improvements
