Our client, a company that specializes in automotive insurance, is looking for a Systems Engineer in Dallas, Tx (Oaklawn area).
Right now, they need a Systems Engineer to join their team to design, deploy, support, and maintain servers, storage, operating systems, and applications in production and pre-production environments. It involves troubleshooting outages, managing servers, developing policies, and maintaining training plans. Ideally, someone who is skilled with Microsoft 365.
This is a role full time hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), with a yearly pay rate of $95-110K plus a 5% bonus.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of IT experience, 5+ years of Microsoft Windows Server Architecture and Admin experience
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure services
- 5+ years of Active Directory and Group Policy administration
- 5+ years of Exchange administration
- 5+ years of VMware administration
- Experience with CommVault and storage management
- Understanding of advanced network architecture principles and network management best practices, including a foundation in network security.
- Experience in presenting to both technical and management teams, including the ability to lead technical meetings and discussions.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- 24/7 on call availability
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining documentation on infrastructure configuration, process mapping, and service records, providing guidance to junior team members.
- Managing infrastructure assets, overseeing equipment upgrades, and negotiating with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure products and services.
- Ensure systems are optimized by conducting research on infrastructure products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of emerging technologies.
- Participate in network security solutions, perform server and security audits, and perform system backups and recovery to ensure network security and maximize uptime and availability.
