Network Engineer/Mid-Level/Hybrid NJ

We’re working with a growing healthcare company based in South Jersey. This full-time hybrid position offers the chance to work with modern network technologies including Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet systems, supporting a vast environment while collaborating with a highly skilled technical team.

This role is two days onsite per week. 

Required Skills & Experience

· 3–5 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator
· Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
· Experience with firewall configuration and troubleshooting (Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA)
· Familiarity with VPNs, SD-WAN, and network segmentation
· Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar)
· Ability to document network configurations and maintain diagrams

Desired Skills & Experience

· CCNA or CCNP certification preferred
· Experience with Azure or AWS networking
· Exposure to wireless network design (Aruba, Meraki, or similar)
· Knowledge of VoIP systems or network security best practices
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Daily Responsibilities
· 75% Hands-On Engineering (implementation, troubleshooting, upgrades)
· 10% Documentation and Reporting
· 15% Team Collaboration and Project Meetings
