Data Modeler/ EPIC Cogito

Our client is looking for a Data Engineer/BI developer to support their data analytics initiatives in a Snowflake environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in EPIC Cogito and experience designing and optimizing data models, pipelines, and analytics workflows.

Contract length: 8 months 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

• Strong experience with EPIC Cogito for designing and modeling tables in Snowflake
• Maintain and update data models and DDL for schema changes
• Design, develop, and deploy data processing and analytical scripts using DBT and Snowflake
• Performance tuning and optimization of data processing workflows for efficiency and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve data processing, integration, and analytics issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills to interact with Engagement Managers, project teams, and technical teams

Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies

• Experience working with large-scale data environments
• Strong understanding of SQL, ETL development, and data warehousing principles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Prior experience with data governance and compliance is a plus
