Our client is in the Financial industry looking for a Data Scientist with 1-2 years of experience to join their growing Data team. This person ideally has experience or an interest in the financial sector and possesses an understanding of predictive modeling, portfolio analytics, and data infrastructure. Located in West Los Angeles, this role will be mostly onsite.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
• Predictive Data Modeling
• Portfolio & Investment Analytics
• Data Infrastructure & ETL
• Machine Learning experience (nice to have)
• Python, SQL, R, Databricks, A/B Testing
• Identify and track key financial and operational KPIs
• Develop and implement predictive models for risk assessment and investment strategy
• Build robust models for market trends, asset performance, and fund optimization
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
• Onsite in Santa Monica / El Segundo
• Bonus on top of base salary
