Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description An investment management company is currently looking for a cloud security engineer to help take their program from infancy stages and catapult it into mature phases. This organization’s parent company is located in upstate New York with this subsidiary in Malvern, PA. This will be a full time, hybrid position that will be focused on building their cloud security posture to a respectable level.

This program utilizes AWS cloud, but they are comfortable having someone with a core understanding of cloud practices regardless of the specific environment. This is a long term engagement but focused on the basics coming in the door. There will be a focus around control implementation to lay the foundation and build off of that. Obviously, with controls and policies there comes securing the environment and responding to threats and vulnerabilities. In AWS, familiarity with cloud formation templates would be a huge plus. They are looking for someone who will help grow and lead the charge for continuous growth within their cloud program. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in cloud environments
• Background in information security
• At least 3-4 years’ experience in cloud technologies

Desired Skills & Experience

• Direct AWS cloud experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Relevant certifications
