Lead DevOps Engineer/Nutley NJ/Onsite / Full-Time

An established and rapidly growing technology company is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead infrastructure and platform initiatives while also managing a Data Engineer. This is a full-time, on-site role in Nutley, NJ, where you’ll balance hands-on engineering with leadership responsibilities, driving the technical foundation for a new live commerce platform.

This is a growth opportunity with direct impact. You’ll design, build, and optimize scalable systems while mentoring talent and shaping long-term platform vision. The role blends DevOps, infrastructure, and software engineering, requiring both technical depth and the ability to lead by example.

Required Skills & Experience
· 10+ years of combined DevOps, Infrastructure, and Software Engineering experience
· Strong expertise with CI/CD pipelines and automation
· Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and Terraform
· Proficiency with TypeScript, Nest, and React
· Stable career track record (not job-hoppy)

Desired Skills & Experience
· Background in platform engineering or infrastructure leadership
· Experience scaling systems for high-performance applications
· Strong mentoring or team management skills
· Familiarity with observability tools and modern monitoring practices
