A manufacturing company based in Lansdale, PA is seeking a reliable and technically capable IT Support Technician to join its internal IT team. This role is ideal for a support-focused professional who enjoys working directly with end users, supporting shop-floor and office systems, and maintaining day-to-day IT operations in a manufacturing environment.
You will provide frontline technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and basic network infrastructure, ensuring employees across the production floor and office environments can work efficiently and without disruption. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, clear communication, and the ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Required Skills & Experience-
1–3+ years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role

Strong experience supporting Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops

Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)

Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, and Wi-Fi)

Ability to troubleshoot common network connectivity and printer issues

Experience supporting Active Directory (user accounts, passwords, group membership)

Familiarity with hardware setup and maintenance (PCs, laptops, barcode scanners, printers)

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to document issues, solutions, and procedures clearly

Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing/warehouse environment

Experience supporting IT systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Familiarity with shop-floor systems, production PCs, or industrial workstations
-
Basic experience with network switches, patch panels, and cabling

Exposure to ERP, MRP, or inventory systems
-
Experience with ticketing systems and IT asset tracking

Knowledge of basic IT security best practices (MFA, endpoint protection, patching)

Provide Tier 1–2 IT support for office staff and manufacturing floor users

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues

Set up and deploy PCs, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
-
Assist with user onboarding and offboarding (accounts, equipment, access)

Support basic networking tasks, including switch ports, Wi-Fi connectivity, and cabling issues

Maintain and troubleshoot printers, label printers, and scanners used in production

Escalate complex server or network issues to senior IT staff or vendors
-
Document support tickets, procedures, and asset information

Work closely with operations and production teams to minimize downtime
