Job Description
A growing defense contractor is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a full-time, onsite position working on power electronics systems for military and defense applications, including power supplies, generators, and heavy industrial equipment for mission-critical defense platforms.
You'll be working in a true end-to-end manufacturing environment where engineering meets production. This isn't just design work—you'll see your circuits go from schematic to PCB layout to assembly in the company's in-house machine shop, board stuffing line, magnetics line, and EMI testing rooms. You need to hit the ground running with 7+ years of experience, either launching new power supply designs from scratch or jumping into existing projects that need your expertise in analog/digital design, PCB layout, and root cause analysis. The role offers the opportunity to lead projects or work within established teams depending on scope—full lifecycle engineering from concept through production on systems that directly support defense operations.
