AWS Cloud Architect

This position is with a startup in Phoenix that’s changing the game in the spatial computing space. They’ve built patented streaming technology that lets people experience 3D and immersive content in real time, no downloads, no storage limits, just smooth high tech quality streaming. They’re looking to bring on a full-time Cloud Architect who can help scale their AWS environment and take their cloud infrastructure to the next level. You’d be working with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Lambda, Terraform, and other serverless tools.
This is one of the roles where you get to build something brand new and see the impact of your work. The team moves fast, the tech is cutting edge, and there’s a ton of room to be creative with architecture and design. They want someone who is hands-on, strong in AWS, and comfortable in a startup environment, someone who likes solving big technical problems and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty along the way. Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience working in AWS environments
• Proven background designing and implementing large-scale cloud architecture
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
• Deep understanding of serverless technologies like AWS Lambda
• Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
• Experience optimizing cloud cost, scalability, and performance in production environments
• Background working in fast-paced startup or small-team settings
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and product teams

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience building or scaling Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) or streaming platforms
• Familiarity with spatial computing, 3D rendering, or immersive tech environments
• Strong scripting or development background (Python, Go, or similar)
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
• Knowledge of container security and AWS best practices
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Previous startup experience or exposure to early-stage product development
• Passion for innovation and staying up to date with emerging cloud technologies
