TITLE: Scrum Master
DESCRIPTION: Under limited supervision, coordinates activities SCRUM team activities to deliver product features, enhancements, and fixes. The person with overall responsibility for applying SCRUM principles to deliver high-quality business systems. Scrum Master duties include managing timelines, resolving problems, and coaching team members to create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
Leverages velocity reporting to accurately project scrum team capacity on a sprint-for-sprint basis such that all planned stories are completed within the sprint on a consistent basis.
Coach team members in Agile frameworks.
Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.
Be the point of contact for communication from the Product Manager
Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.
Help teams implement changes effectively.
Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity.
Help build a productive environment where team members own the product and enjoy working on it.
Works with vendors and engages third party resources as needed.
Facilitates and documents RACI and change control process. Setup collaboration, Jira and other tools for the SCRUM team.
Schedules, prepares material, and facilitates tactical and leadership meetings to report status and progress.
Tracks and documents risk/actions/issues/dependencies and formulates mitigation plans as needed.
Facilitates, documents, and gets sign off for deployment, communication, training and business readiness plans.
SKILLS:
Experience supporting projects related to Digital Solutions/Web/ecommerce/inventory mgmt.
Excellent knowledge of the scrum framework with all its artifacts and techniques.
Extensive experience coordinating people and projects occasionally facilitating changes with focus on providing quality deliverables.
Bachelors degree in the Computer Science field
3 years of applicable experience in the SCRUM Master role for on medium to large size projects.
PMI Disciplined Agile Scrum Master DASM Certification desired.
Formal training and experience working with MS Project MPP tools JIRA Confluence and SharePoint.
Solid understanding of project management including knowledge of various project methodologies agile waterfall.
Infrastructure and IT software acumen.
