DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description Looking for your next DevSecOps Contract? Based out of Wilmington, DE this financial powerhouse is looking to bring on a Senior DevSecOps (Python) Engineer. The role itself reads as a stereotypical DevSecOps Engineer, the biggest emphasis would be on the automation piece.
As mentioned above, this would be a contract position on an internal high performing team. The right person will have come from an extensive security and infrastructure, or software development background. You’ll minimally need to have four years’ experience as an experience Security-minded Automation Engineer or DevSecOps Engineer. Experience with AWS, Python, Securing CI/CD, conducting SAST/DAST scans, and understanding cloud security controls will be the key skillsets.
Contract Duration: 12 months+ Required Skills & Experience

• Minimally need 4 years’ experience within Security Automation or DevSecOps
• Experience in Cloud Security (AWS or Azure) and understanding Cloud Security Controls
• Ability to code in Python, or other languages
• Ensuring tight security encryption
• Strong general knowledge of Infrastructure and Systems Engineering

Desired Skills & Experience

• AWS Certifications or other Cloud Certs
• CISSP or other Security Certs
• Experience working within other enterprise organizations
