Lead DevOps Engineer/ ATL/ Cyber Security Startup

A very interesting cyber security startup is looking to make their first DevOps hire to stand up their entire DevOps/Platform/SRE practice local to the ATL area. In this role, you'll initially be brought in to build out the internal cloud infrastructure, SRE functions, and optimize CI/CD. As time goes on, you'll be responsible for building out the DevOps/SRE practice beneath you. Ideally looking for a candidate interested in the startup space, and OK with being on-site a few days a week. 

The company is at the crossroads of cyber security and agentic AI, which are two of the hottest industries within technology right now. Due to a new seed funding round, this company is actively looking to scale and you have a real chance to be a part of an organization set for serious growth. The role itself has a ton of autonomy and you'll be making decisions that will have a massive impact in the bottom line of the organization as a whole. 

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to execute DevOps roadmap across AWS and Azure
• Contribute to INFRA development while growing team under you
• Experience maturing startup teams
• Significant experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
• Strong understanding of security/compliance
• Strong background in observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with AI/ML Infrastructure, GPU's
• Experience with Service Mesh tech
• Knowledge of chaos engineering and advanced reliability practices
