Controls Engineer - on-site in NH

Our client is at the forefront of developing innovative solutions for the industrial engineering space. Their team is dedicated to solving complex engineering challenges with cutting-edge technologies. They are looking for a talented and motivated Controls Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of advanced controls system.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement control systems for machinery ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and tune control algorithms for applications such as [e.g., motion control, process control, stability analysis, etc.].
  • Model and simulate dynamic systems using tools like MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or equivalent.
  • Work with hardware and software teams to integrate control systems into embedded and real-time environments.
  • Analyze system performance and optimize control strategies to meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure control systems function properly in various operating conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software engineers) to troubleshoot and resolve control-related issues.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including control system designs, testing procedures, and reports.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience with PLC
  • Strong knowledge of control theory (PID, state-space control, adaptive control, etc.) and practical application to real-world systems.
  • Experience with modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Python, etc.)
