Job Description A global leader in energy management and automation is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join their dynamic team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in building and scaling infrastructure with Terraform while driving a critical on-premises to public cloud migration. You will take ownership of securing infrastructure, strengthening observability libraries, designing and implementing automation improvements, and ensuring the stability.

This is a highly visible position where you’ll partner with cross-functional teams, bringing best practices in security, DevOps, and automation to a complex and regulated environment. The ideal candidate is someone who can hit the ground running, thrives in fast-paced environments, and communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Contract Duration: 6-month contract to hire.
Hybrid in Government Center, 3 days a week Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps / DevSecOps engineering
  • Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch
  • Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or similar tools
  • Proven experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises infrastructure
  • Strong background implementing security frameworks in highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, energy, or government preferred)
  • Strong Kubernetes experience
What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown
  • 30% Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
  • 25% CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
  • 20% Kubernetes & Docker (container orchestration & management)
  • 15% Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Daily Responsibilities
  • 70% Hands-On Engineering – Building IaC with Terraform, developing CI/CD pipelines, deploying & managing Kubernetes clusters, container security, and cloud automation
  • 15% Management Duties – Mentoring team members, leading infrastructure security initiatives, and planning cloud migration strategy
  • 15% Team Collaboration – Partnering with developers, architects, and security teams; code reviews; and contributing to cross-team DevSecOps standards
