Job Description

Our client, a large manufacturing company, is currently looking for a Network/System Administrator in Dallas, TX. This company is a U.S. leading manufacturer of construction products.

Right now, they need a Network Systems Administrator to oversee day-to-day information technology activities. Ideally, someone who is skilled with the Fortinet suite, Microsoft Windows Servers 2008-2012, VM Hyper-V operating systems, and administering network hardware and software.

This is an on-site position, Monday through Friday, along with travel to various business units. Compensation is 110K-115K, with an annual 10% bonus.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of Network/Infrastructure administration.
  • 7+ years of Operational technology infrastructure support.
  • Advanced Microsoft experience with Servers, Hyper-V, and Active Directory administration.
  • Advanced experience with Antivirus, Network Security, LAN/WAN.
  • Effective communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to express verbal and written technical concepts effectively.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair.
  • Troubleshoot, manage, and maintain system performance including Switches, Hubs, Routers, Antivirus protection, Internet, and Intranet administration.
  • Supports email, web applications, network firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP, intrusion. detection/prevention, VMware and Hypervisor implementation and administration.
  • Monitor capacity versus utilization for hardware, system throughput and licenses.
  • Establishes security guidelines and procedure.
