Network Systems Engineer

A company in the manufacturing industry located in North Dallas, Texas, is currently looking for a Network Systems Engineer to add to their growing team. This engineer will be focused on day-to-day administration of their network and server environments, while also helping on new initiatives to implement things like firewalls, new routing and switching, etc. They are heavily Cisco based for route and switch, Fortinet firewalls, and Windows Hyper-V virtual server environments.
There roles will require someone to come onsite 3-4 days a week. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of networking engineering experience
• Strong backgorund with Cisco switching and routing (Catalyst or Nexus)
• Experience working with the Fortinet suite of products
• Knowledge of common routing protocols
• Understanding of Windows tools such as O365 and Exchange
• Windows system administration experience
• Experience managing virtual server environments with either VMware or Hyper-V (Hyper-V is preferred)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree
