Job Description
Our client, a large dental support organization, is currently looking for a Senior Network Engineer in Plano, TX. This company is one of the largest providers of dental support services in the United States with over 700 affiliated practices across 30 states.
Right now, they need a Senior Network Engineer to join their team to implement and enforce network design/configuration standards, network security compliance, access controls, support processes, and data governance
This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), with a yearly pay rate of $110K-120K along with benefits.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of LAN, WAN, Campus, Data Center, Wi-Fi, Remote Access, Firewalls, Switches, and Network Access controls within large (200+) multi-site complex environment experience.
- 5+ years with Fortinet Technologies including but not limited to: FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, and FortiClientEMS/FortiClient and Juniper Data Center Technologies such as EX4600 and EX3400 series switches, Sky Enterprise, and Virtual-Chassis.
- Experience with cloud and premise based VOIP solutions.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Manage multi-cloud, on-prem data centers and 600+ sites.
- Manage and continuously explore options to performance, scalability, and reliability for LAN, WAN, wireless, remote access, QoS, WAN optimization, AAA, NAC, firewalls, and performance monitoring.
- Manage and improve network security design standards and defense controls for global networks, data centers, and cloud.
- Closely engage with key stakeholders from user communities for technical issues, and future enhancement.
- Collaborate and provide training to the team for maintaining high-quality ITSM network ticketing support.
- Establish and publish regular KPI's/metrics useful for measuring performance, SLA, stability, and customer satisfaction
- Work across teams to facilitate high performance and reliability of Engineering compute infrastructure.
