Our client, a large broker dealer, is currently looking for a Senior Network Engineer in Fort Worth, TX. This company has over 60 years of experience and is in all 50 states.
Right now, they need a Senior Network Engineer to join their team to ensure the stability and integrity of the organization's data, voice, video, and wireless network services by planning, designing, and developing infrastructure, including local and wide area networks and cloud networking services. Ideally, someone with extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN, Cisco, Palo Alto, Azure, and F5.
This is a role full time hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), with a yearly pay rate of $110-$115, and an 8% bonus along with 15% stock option/equity.

Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field and/or 5-7 years of equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of experience in a cloud environment, preferably Azure as a cloud network engineer, administrator, and/or DevOps role
- Proven success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN
- Proven success with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practice
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SNMP, OSPF, BGP, LLDP, VLT, HTTP/S, HTML, SMTP, and SIP
- Extensive application support experience with F5 GTM, F5 LTM, Palo Alto Firewalls, Azure Express Route
- Knowledge of telephony systems, including Microsoft Team, Genesys, or other telephony platform
Desired Skills & Experience
- Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, Azure, security, or network management certifications preferred.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Collaborate with BIS management leaders to assess near and long-term network capacity needs.
- Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Wireless networks, routers, switches, and other hardware.
- Design and deploy network infrastructure/services for IaaS, SaaS, and other cloud applications.
- Installation and integration of network devices from multiple vendors.
- Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry.
- Design and implement of architectural roadmaps regarding Hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed
- Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.
- On-call rotation 24x7 except for scheduled vacations and limited pre-arranged windows. As majority of major system updates are performed nights and weekends, must be available at those times. Must also be on-site during normal business hours to resolve user issues.
