System Engineer

Our client, a fortune 500 transportation company, is looking for an up-and-coming System Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate has experience working in enterprise level environments, support on premises Windows and VMware virtual machines. Ideally, you have experience building out and configuring new VMware servers while maintaining what is already place. Since they are primarily on-prem, they have been doing a big push to enhance their infrastructure utilizing virtualization. They are also working on enhancing their storage. Tech wise, they need someone skilled in the Microsoft suite, VMware, SAN/NAS, and any networking experience is a plus. This is a direct hire position with a 3 day a week onsite requirement in Euless, Texas. Compensation is $130-140K annually. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience building out VMware servers from the ground up.
• Experience working in a large-scale Windows environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT storage (SAN/NAS).
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to collaborate with a team.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in related field, or related certifications a big plus.
• Any networking knowledge or experience is good to have.
