Data Scientist / Onsite in Santa Monica (5 days a week)

Our client is a private investment firm looking for a Data Scientist with 4-6 years of experience to join their growing Data team. This person ideally has experience in the financial or investment sector and possesses a deep understanding of predictive modeling, portfolio analytics, and data infrastructure. Located near Santa Monica, this role will be mostly onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

• Predictive Data Modeling
• Portfolio & Investment Analytics
• Data Infrastructure & ETL
• Machine Learning experience (nice to have)
• Python, SQL, R, Databricks, A/B Testing
• Identify and track key financial and operational KPIs
• Develop and implement predictive models for risk assessment and investment strategy
• Build robust models for market trends, asset performance, and fund optimization

• Onsite in Santa Monica / El Segundo
