Hands-on Network Manager/Cisco/Firewalls/Hybrid

We’re partnering with a growing mid-sized organization based in the Philly suburbs that’s looking for a hands-on Network Manager to oversee and elevate their core infrastructure.

This company is known for its collaborative culture, strong internal support, and modern technology stack, including Cisco networking, firewalls, wireless systems, cloud integrations, and virtualization. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity for someone who loves both leading a team and rolling up their sleeves in the environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8+ years of hands-on experience supporting and administering enterprise networks

• Strong expertise with Cisco routing & switching (IOS/NX-OS)

• Proven experience managing firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FirePower, or Fortinet)

• Solid understanding of layer 2/3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel)

• Experience leading or mentoring a small network/infrastructure team

• Hands-on experience with wireless networking (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, etc.)

• Familiarity with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL, site-to-site)

• Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, PRTG)

• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across LAN/WAN/WLAN environments

• Ability to manage projects, prioritize workload, and drive network upgrades
