We’re working with a rapidly growing Managed Service Provider in the Philadelphia area that’s looking for a Field Engineer to support their diverse client base across the region. This MSP works with modern and varied technologies including Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365, networking gear (Cisco/Meraki), firewalls (SonicWall, Fortinet), virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and backup platforms. This is a full-time opportunity with constant exposure to new environments, systems, and tools — perfect for someone who thrives in variety and wants to build deep technical range.
Required Skills & Experience-
3–5+ years of hands-on IT support or system/network administration experience

Strong expertise with Windows Server (2016–2022) administration

Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange Online, and Intune

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, DHCP, DNS)

Experience working with firewalls (SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or Meraki)

Proficiency with desktop support (Windows 10/11), imaging, and deployment

Strong customer-facing skills — able to communicate clearly with non-technical users

Ability to travel to client sites across the greater Philadelphia region

Experience supporting virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V)

Ability to manage multiple tickets, projects, and client requests simultaneously

Experience with Azure administration (resource groups, VMs, VNETs)

Familiarity with Meraki dashboard management

Experience with backup solutions (Datto, Veeam, Acronis)

Knowledge of RMM/PSA systems (ConnectWise, Kaseya, N-able)

Experience performing server migrations or cloud-to-cloud migrations

Exposure to VoIP systems

Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ / Security+ / A+, Microsoft AZ-104, MCSA, or CCNA
