Technical MSP Manager/Windows/Networking

We’re hiring a Technical MSP Manager for a full-time opportunity based in Reading, PA or Allentown, PA (hybrid) with a rapidly growing Managed Services Provider delivering enterprise-grade IT solutions to mid-market and SMB clients nationwide. This company specializes in modern infrastructure environments across Cisco and Fortinet networking, VMware virtualization, Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and Azure cloud technologies. If you’re a hands-on technical leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys balancing architecture, escalation support, and team leadership, this role offers the perfect blend of strategy and execution.

Required Skills & Experience

· 7+ years of hands-on experience with Networking (routing, switching, firewalls)
· 5+ years working with Windows Server environments (2012–2019+)
· Experience supporting and administering Red Hat Linux servers
· Prior MSP experience required
· 3+ years of direct management experience (minimum 5–8 direct reports)
· Strong escalation support experience (Tier 3/Architecture level)
· Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware preferred)
· Proven client-facing communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

· Azure or AWS cloud experience
· Fortinet or Cisco certifications (CCNP, NSE preferred)
· ITIL familiarity
· Experience building KPIs and service delivery metrics
· Automation or scripting (PowerShell, Bash)

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

· 40% Hands-On (Escalations, Architecture, Complex Troubleshooting)
· 40% Management Duties (1:1s, mentoring, performance reviews, capacity planning)
· 20% Team Collaboration (Client meetings, cross-functional planning, strategy)
