You’ll work as a Lead Network Administrator for a large, mission-critical organization in downtown Boston, MA. This is a long-term contract role with an initial onsite period that transitions to a hybrid schedule. You’ll support and lead enterprise data communication and network infrastructure in a complex, high-availability environment.
This role is ideal if you like being the technical lead and owning network operations end-to-end. You’ll stay hands-on while also influencing network improvements, evaluating new technologies, and supporting new site projects. It’s a stable, long-term opportunity with strong exposure to large-scale infrastructure and a balanced hybrid setup after onboarding.
· 5+ years in enterprise network or IT environments
· Hands-on experience with network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
· Experience monitoring network performance and reliability
· Ability to work with vendors on hardware and circuit issues
· Strong documentation and communication skills
· Lead or senior network administration experience
· Experience supporting multi-site or large-scale environments
· Familiarity with telecommunications technologies and network planning
· Hands-on network administration and troubleshooting
· Monitoring performance and coordinating with vendors
· Documenting configurations and recommending improvements
· Supporting network planning for new or expanded sites
