Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience
- Proven experience and expertise in developing productized security service offerings.
- Experience writing statements of work and/or proposals in response to client requirements.
- Demonstrate technical and advisory leadership for customers, sales, and other consultants in the areas of the persons' expertise.
- Demonstrates knowledge of end-to-end information security architecture strategies, standards, processes, and tools necessary for Security solution design.
- Experience as a CISO, Information Security Director, or similar responsibilities in Information Security.
- Knowledge in compliance assessment and solutions for regimes such as PCI, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA, FFIEC, FISMA, and US Federal regulations, etc.
- Knowledge of data centers, cloud-based environments, or Security Operations Centers (SOC).
- Relevant industry certified IT security certifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail and process-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner and demonstrate initiative.
- Experience providing security or IT service in customer-centric environments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks while working on multiple service offerings in parallel.
- Commitment to excellence and willingness to do what is necessary to get the job done.
- Ability to travel in support of meetings, presentations, conferences, and similar events.
- Able to develop and deliver solutions and thrive in a fast-paced startup-like environment.
- Significant experience in security architecture and design techniques.
- Capable of creating security consulting service offerings with minimal oversight: evangelizing offerings, working with product teams building pre-packaged services, working with marketing to brand and advertise offerings, and educate sales teams to sell the new services.
What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities:
- Work directly for the IT Security Consulting BISO, create/productize/pre-package/price and then bring to market 15+ consulting service offerings.
- Work with all the necessary security points of contact within the company, design (and lead teams in designing) consulting service offerings.
- Provide subject matter expertise, understand requirement nuances, and transform a service concept into an offering.
- Create standardized deliverable templates, statement of work templates, pricing templates, tear sheets, sales presentations, and sales collaterals.
- Support SOWs/RFPs and respond with canned/pre-packaged materials for promoting and selling consulting services. Evangelism
- Provide thought leadership, develop and build, productized and pre-priced IT security services.
- Gather detailed requirements necessary to develop a productized solution, collaterals, estimation models, case studies, SOW and Proposal templates amongst others to meet the client needs.
- Develop pricing proposals to support sales process.
- Drive overall pre-priced productization plan and adoption within the company.
- Provides sales support and solution development for the Consulting Security Services.
- Collaborate with CTL field sales, solutions architects, product development, and support teams to help customers and partners learn and propose productized consulting services offerings.
- Assess broad trends in the IT security space and propose, develop, and institutionalize simple solutions that address evolving customer needs.
- Create reusable productized security services and assets (collaterals, estimation models, case studies, SOW and Proposal templates).
- Collaborate with field sales, engineering, product training, and support teams to help customers productized consulting services.
- Work with practice leads, sales and sales support, and business teams to convey and customer feedback as input to security productized services.
- Provide qualification and solution development efforts during client pursuits for the Consulting Security practice.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate parties that may be required during solution development to ensure seamless integration, scoping and pricing for productized services.
- Provides domain leadership across various Security technologies and service offerings.
- Designs quality architectures and solutions that meet customer requirements and are consistent with Information Security practices and solution implementations.
- Maintain a technical skill set that matches the evolving security and compliance requirements of the company’s customers and corresponding security services.
- Develop pricing proposals to support sales process.
